Sometimes, Life Changes
And those changes might have you wanting (or needing) to change your ONEOK benefits. Once you have made your initial benefit elections, you will not be able to make changes until Open Enrollment, unless you experience a qualifying life event that changes your or your dependent’s eligibility. Let’s review your options.
Things To Consider
MAKE CHANGES TO YOUR BENEFIT PLAN ELECTIONS.
If your life event requires you to make changes to your medical, dental or vision coverage, or contribution amounts to your flexible spending accounts (FSAs), be sure to make those new elections in Workday. Make any new elections within the timeframe listed above.
REVIEW LIFE INSURANCE COVERAGE.
Some life events, like getting married or having a new dependent, may mean you need to reconsider your life insurance elections. If you need to make changes to your life insurance, you can do so in Workday.
MAKE SURE BENEFICIARIES ARE UP TO DATE.
Update your life insurance and accidental death and dismemberment (AD&D) beneficiaries in Workday > Benefits & Pay > Change Benefits > Beneficiary Change.
Update your 401(k) beneficiaries through Fidelity, HSA beneficiaries through Optum and your Employee Stock Purchase Plan beneficiaries through E-Trade.
UPDATE PERSONAL INFORMATION.
Do you need to update your home address, phone number, marriage status or other personal information? If so, make your changes in Workday.
Remember: Changing your marital status in Workday is not the same as making changes to benefits. You still need to submit a qualifying life event change to make changes to your benefits.
